Ⅳ. Working Principle:

Place the battery cells or electrode sheets into the oven, set the heating time, vacuum time, and nitrogen time. The system will automatically carry out heating and timed gas exchange based on the preset time parameters to complete the baking process


Ⅴ. Equipment Functions:

1. Heating – Includes external and internal heating systems:

U-shaped electric heating tubes with forced air circulation for fast temperature rise

2. Vacuum pumping:

Equipped with a vacuum pump, capable of reaching the set vacuum level within 5 minutes; an alarm is triggered if the set value is not reached

3. Nitrogen injection:

An alarm is triggered if nitrogen is not detected during automatic injection

4. Cooling:

Automatically stops when the temperature drops to the set value

Ⅶ. Basic Configuration:

1. Exterior material: A3 cold-rolled steel plate with baking paint treatment, color: off-white

2. Inner chamber material: 304# industrial brushed stainless steel plate, thickness: 5.0 mm

3. Door structure: Single-door, filled with aluminum silicate insulation cotton; pressure-sealed door (automatically sealed upon closing); exterior of the furnace door made of steel plate with paint treatment

4. Sealing ring: Molded silicone rubber O-ring, high-temperature and corrosion resistant

5. Vacuum and nitrogen ports and interface specifications: Ports located at the back; vacuum port: KF40; nitrogen gas inlet: φ12 mm gas pipe connector

6. Control system: PLC automatic control, HMI with touchscreen interface


Ⅷ. System Composition and Configuration Plan:

The system includes:

1 high vacuum pump unit (customer-supplied)

1 auxiliary cooling system (customer-supplied)

1 high vacuum oven

1. Vacuum System:

Vacuum system provided by the supplier. A maximum of two chambers can be vacuumed simultaneously. Once the set vacuum level is reached, the branch valve will close automatically before the other chamber starts vacuuming.

 

2. Vacuum Technical Parameters:

Ultimate pressure at pump inlet: ≤10 Pa (no-load condition)

Single chamber vacuuming from atmospheric pressure to 20 Pa: ≤10 min (no-load)

Vacuum leakage rate (cold no-load): After reaching ultimate vacuum and closing the valve, vacuum remains at ≤500 Pa within 24 hours

Vacuum method: Shared vacuum pump for multiple chambers

No-load ultimate vacuum: ≤20 Pa

Practical vacuum varies with exhaust volume of the baked material

Set vacuum levels:

High vacuum: 50–100 Pa (for efficient moisture removal)

Low vacuum: ≤2000 Pa (for nitrogen exchange threshold)

System includes: Two-stage vacuum pump and pipeline

Vacuum pump: provided by customer or supplier

Vacuum pipeline: according to final confirmed drawings based on the location of the pump and oven

Short distances: stainless steel corrugated hoses provided by supplier

Long-distance piping: to be confirmed in advance with installation party designated

Distance from oven to vacuum pump: <2000 mm

Distance from oven to chiller: <3000 mm

Cold air ducts mounted on oven top

Vacuum pipelines use stainless steel flexible hoses

 

4. Cooling System:

Air ducts: 110 mm PVC pipes wrapped with insulation cotton for better thermal retention

Connection: Pipes connect to oven cooling inlets

Total cooling power: 4 KW

Cooling temperature setting: 5–10°C

Cooling time: 90–150 minutes to reach the set temperature
